Income tax department has conducted surveys on KEC International for possible tax evasion of Rs 400 crore, reports CNBC-Awaaz. At 11:33 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 56.05, down Rs 2.25, or 3.86%. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 59.80 and an intraday low of Rs 52.15.
It was trading with volumes of 532,322 shares, compared to its five day average of 53,595 shares, an increase of 893.22%.
In the previous trading session, the share closed up 0.60% or Rs 0.35 at Rs 58.30.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 80.70 and 52-week low Rs 47.30 on 29 October, 2012 and 01 March, 2013, respectively.
