Shares of state-owned power equipment maker Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) fell as much as 2.6 percent on Wednesday after JP Morgan has put underweight rating on the stock with a target price of Rs 185.

"The 25% rally from recent lows has coincided with the government's policy overdrive and the nod to restructure loans of loss-making discoms. While these steps are potential positives for the power sector, clarity is still needed on issues like fuel availability," the JP Morgan said.

At 13:30 hours IST, the share was trading at Rs 244.25, down 2.40 percent while it was down 7 percent this week. In a month, however, the stock had gained 23 percent.
